Sometimes I am too happy… so excited about something that has happened in my personal or office life and am so eager to share it with someone.
I dial people's number…. Oh.. Its so annoying when the cell is switched off.. not reachable… signal poor.. no tower etc… neither is it so pleasing to stand in a queue and wait for your turn.
And then when you finally get the call the person says " Wow.. that's great" J sometimes reciprocating your feelings boosting your spirit … sometimes a little less..
Sometimes ..yells. Oh.. I was sleeping.. can u call me later.. Bye L cudnt u choose a better time to call me L
Sometimes you are speaking over the phone and as time goes by you gently realize that the other person is being kind and polite by continuing to listen… unable to tell you to keep down the phone..
Sometimes its time bound.. Hey I'll give you 5 mins max .. tell me briefly what u hav got to say.. I am actually going out.. sorry.. or perhaps I hav an assignment now… may be I will listen to the details once am done with the work.. or its like… am now in a bit of hurry… is it ok with u.. can u cal me at around say 8.30 or so?? ( well by the time the little conversation is over… sometimes u r able to accept it.. sometimes your spirit comes down a litte… wat is important for you… need not have the same level of priority for someone else… jus like that… )
Sometimes you are in deep pain.. crying from the bottom of your heart.. seeking comfort.. sometimes you get comforted J sometimes listening to the happy tone at the other end.. you think .. may be I shudnt spoil the person's day pouring over worries .. u try to smile.. wish a goodnite… and day ends.. grief still in your heart..
Sometimes there are so much disturbances..the person you are talking to is not just talking to you but is multi-tasking… quite understandable in the fast moving world we live today.. may be under normal circumstances you would appreciate the person's skill for managing so many things.. but not today.. U feel you are not getting his full attention.. Oh perhaps U don't matter much.. or don't matter at all.. L
The list goes on…
Why do I say all this.. U may wonder.. some of u may even nod your heads.. well the above is to an extent true in my life too… some may disagee with me " Oh.. I didn't mean it that way when I lay aside the call.. "
Have you thought about our God..loving God.. who is full time dedicated.. caring .. thinking about you.. 100 % attention to you.. u r not just one in many.. but u r "THE one" to him.
He has No time lines. No limitations..no conditions.. Unlimited talk time.. Life time validity J J
The beautiful thing is He's not sympathetic but empathetic.. He does not feel FOR U.. But feels WITH u.
U understand the difference.. don't U???
He takes ur joys ..excitements .. fears .. anger. Worries. .everything and understands you to the bottom of your heart.
So next time u look at the mobile.. let it be a reminder of how " God is With U… Al the time" to listen to you and to guide you in the right path when you listen to hom… If only U will dial a call to God Now..
