"Kya Super Kool Hai Hum" A priest sprinkling Holy Water on a mating bitch & dog. Mother Mary speak of reincarnation
"Father, Son and Holy Spirit" Frustrated nuns, in a lesbian relationship & also reported to engage with priests
Every Christian needs to act. Have you done your bit by sending out an email? Please do. What does our inaction, in the face of such blasphemy & sacrilege mean? Is the Holy Spirit speaking to you through the Word... * Whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father who is in heaven - Matthew 10:33 * Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God - Luke 12:8
Here are some more reasons, why you should object to these movies...
The response to The CSF campaign against the two movies Bollywood's "Kya Super Kool Hai Hum" and Malayalam "Pithavum Puthranum Parisudhathmavum" (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) has been tremendous, going by the hundreds of those who have either responded by writing to the authorities or attending our prayer meets. We will be publishing soon a partial list of these defenders of the faith - of course keeping out the Archbishops, Bishops and prominent Christian leaders, who have written to us, joining in the campaign.
The CSF took the opportunity to use the regular monthly First Friday Mass at the Cross Maidan, Mumbai, where I spoke and prayed, highlighting objectionable portions and why every Christian needs to join in The CSF protest against such character assassination of the Church and expressing solidarity with the faultless clergy. Community groups like the Maharashtra Christian Youth Forum, Association of Concerned Catholics, Catholics for the Preservation of the Faith, etc. have joined in and we appeal to all individuals to lend The CSF - a helping hand.
The Latest: Its worse than we expected. More to come? I wonder what liberals and critics, some from within our community will have to say when, we update them of even more objectionable scenes in the movies. Hence, here are some of them in a protest letter, which you can copy, paste and email to the addresses as given below: Dear Decision-maker, Sub: Censor scenes of "Kya Super Kool Hai Hum", Ban movie "Father, Son and Holy Spirit" & Stop Outlook's Yellow Journalism Ref: If you would not allow the Clergy of another religion to be treated similarly, then why are Christians discriminated against.
Please take not of the following movies, which have hurt our religious sentiments. We would like to know what action has been taken on The CSF campaign against them -
1. In a Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms production, "Kya Super Kool Hai Hum", the priest is shown in shabby light, which makes a mockery of the Christian sacrament of marriage and the faith. It is a misrepresentation of priests and the community. The dialogues with double meaning are unprintable, but here are some objectionable scenes: a) The Christan priest is show with religious vestments / Stole /robe solemnizing a wedding of a bitch and a dog, asking the dogs to accept each other as husband and wife. b) The priest is shown sprinkling Holy Water, while a bitch and dog are reportedly engaging in a sexual act. The dialogues referring to the sperm of the dog is unprintable. c) Actor Anupam Kher says that Mother Mary got his dead mother reincarnated as a bitch and was around in this life. He was told this by a godman. Christians as a community, do not believe in reincarnation, nor in the clergy of other faiths. d) Actor Chunky Pandey speaks of his Last Supper with Jesus, where he says J likes Delhi Darbar biryani and prophesises that Anupal Kher's father will be reincarnated as a dog to give holy love (sex?) to his mother (a bitch in present life) and preparations need to be made for the dogs arrival.
2. Director T. Deepesh of the Malayalam film, "Pithavum Puthranum Parisudhathmavum" (Father, Son and Holy Spirit), himself is quoted - "I have explored the lives of two nuns in a nunnery and have touched on various aspects, including homosexuality and abortion". It is also reported that the film has a lesbian scene in which two nuns are seen trying to vent their suppressed sexual emotions. We are also given to understand that the movie revolves around a nun who was forced to become a nun due to certain circumstances in life. The film also allegedly depicts the sexual relationship of nuns with two priests and also an "emotional" relation with Jesus Christ.
The CSF is also informed that this movie is based on the book 'Amen' written by Sr. Jesme and is written by Balram Mattanur and produced by Sundar Iraitty for Track and Trolly Productions. Actors - Saari, Rajsree Ponnappa and Dwani (Honey Rose) play the roles of nuns, art director Sabu Cyril plays Jesus Christ, while V.K. Prakash and Sunny Wayne act as priests. What is being proposed to ensure that such blasphemy and sacrilege is not shown to the audiences of whom millions are non-Christian and targeting the community.
We are grateful to the very many in the Church Hierarchy and Clergy, who have supported The CSF campaign, which we are determined to carry through, doing the best we can. The two movies hurt our religious sentiments and is giving the impression that the government is taking Christians for granted. Since, it will also set a bad precedent; we call upon you to act against them, under sections 295A of the IPC, the Cinematography Act and relevant criminal and civil laws. The Censor Board has not been receptive or effective, when it comes to wrongful portrayal of the Clergy, Christians or Christianity.
Looking forward to your earliest action. (YOUR NAME) The CSF is taking all these related issues together and especially on the "Pithavum Puthranum Parisudhathmavum" (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) front, The CSF is exhausting all legal remedies, while encouraging each and every laity, church, parish, diocese, association, organization, etc. to protest and mark a copy to The CSF for follow-up. We are once again giving you below email ids of the concerned persons, to whom you can forward this update:
However, The CSF can't do it alone and need each and every one of you to join in. Fr. CM Paul, SDB and also who was a member of the Censor Board Advisory Panel (2007-2009) has commendably written to all concerned. Augustine suggests we send "Get Well" cards to all those sick people, connected with the films or even "Condolences & Sympathies", since their conscience is dead and "Kya Super Kool Hai Hum" has not done as expected at the box office.
Such publicity seeks to tarnish the fair name of the Church, Christians and Christianity, with scenes of sex, ridicule, abortion, scandal, homosexuality, etc. The movie scenes are far from the truth and do not depict the correct lifestyle of the clergy, using as excuses - there is some truth, it is an imaginary work of fiction, it is based on a few unsubstantiated instances.
The slander of lakhs of priests and nuns affects the image and is a matter of concern for approximately 25 million Christians, besides millions of secular others, who would not appreciate the religion or clergy of any faith to be portrayed as such.
Finally, most importantly - The CSF and our fellow-activists need your special prayers. Pray not only for us, but also our persecutors and pray for the clergy. Often our biggest opposition comes from our own - a la prophet is never accepted in his own land. We have also given below some addresses to whom you can direct legal notices or make complaints with, besides of course your local police station, if they will file an FIR under section or file a PIL, that religious figures should not be mocked at in media. Do get in touch with The CSF for any assistance in this regard.
Lets all keep at it and the Lord will bless us with success. Blessings & Respect, Your brother in Christ, Joseph Dias Gen. Sec. The CSF +91 9769 55 56 57 List of Concerned Persons: Smt.
