I Am Statements from Holy Gospel through which Jesus Christ claims his divinity

Did Jesus said He is God and worship him?

This question is being asked by muslim dawah preachers around the world. Muslims consider Jesus (Isa)  as a prophet.  Christians consider Jesus as Son on God, one among 3 persons in Holy Trinity ( The Father, The Son & The Holy Spirit). Both believes that, at the end of time, Jesus will comes again to Judge the living and the dead. Did Jesus claimed divity? YES He did, if we carefully read Gospel, Jesus is using  "I Am" which was the name revealed to Prophet Moses before his departure for Egypt.

Exodus 3:7–8, 13–14
“And God said unto Moses, I Am That I Am: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I Am hath sent me unto you”

The Seven "I Am" Statements from Gospel according to St. John

"I am the bread of life" (John 6:35)
- Jesus declares that he provides spiritual nourishment and sustenance for eternal life, just as bread sustains physical life. "I am the light of the world" (John 8:12)
- Jesus identifies himself as the one who brings spiritual illumination and guidance, dispelling the darkness of sin and ignorance. "I am the door/gate" (John 10:7, 9)
- Jesus presents himself as the entrance to salvation and the pathway to God, emphasizing that access to eternal life comes through him. "I am the good shepherd" (John 10:11, 14)
- Jesus describes his caring, protective relationship with his followers, willing to lay down his life for his sheep. "I am the resurrection and the life" (John 11:25)
- Jesus declares his power over death and his ability to grant eternal life to believers. "I am the way, the truth, and the life" (John 14:6)
- Perhaps the most comprehensive statement, Jesus claims to be the exclusive path to God, the embodiment of truth, and the source of spiritual life. "I am the true vine" (John 15:1, 5)
- Jesus describes the intimate relationship between himself and his followers, emphasizing their dependence on him for spiritual fruitfulness. Beyond these seven, Jesus made other significant "I am" declarations, including
"Before Abraham was, I am" (John 8:58), which directly echoes God's name revealed to Moses in Exodus 3:14 and affirms Jesus's eternal divine nature. For a man with quality of reading the inner meanings, the above verses are enough to identify the divine deity of Jesus Christ!.

The question is How the people responded when Jesus spoke these words. Holy Bible says, the pharisees and jewish religious authorities found this as blasphemy. They had violent reactions and they presented these as accusations against Jesus.

JOHN 10:29-33 says:
29My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all ; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. 30 I and the Father are one.31 Again his Jewish opponents picked up stones to stone him, 32 but Jesus said to them, “I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these do you stone me? 33The Jews answered him, "It is not for a good work that we are going to stone you but for blasphemy, because you, being a man, make yourself God." Daily Prayers
THE SALVE REGINA ( Hail Holy Queen )
Hail Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life our sweetness and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve; To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us and after this our exile show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary!
