Saint Padre Pio
St. Pio of Pietrelcina also known as Saint Padre Pio was a Capuchin priest from Italy who is venerated as a saint by the holy Catholic Church. He was born Francesco Forgione on May 25, 1887 and slept is God on September 23, 1968. At the age of fifteen, he entered a Franciscan Capuchin monastery, and he was ordained into the priesthood in 1910.
He is was well known for various spiritual gifts like healing, bilocation, reading hearts, levitation, prophecy, miracles, spiritual clairvoyance, conversion, discernment of spirits and the stigmata and was known as living saint during his time.
Padre Pio is thought to be the first Catholic priest to bear the wounds of Christ. One of the things Padre Pio was most famous for was his ability as a confessor. He was able to read hearts and go through the soul of others. He was declared as a saint of the Catholic Church on June 16, 2002.

Dear Padre Pio:
I recall to mind your promise to Jesus: "Lord, I will stand at the gates of heaven until I see that all of my spiritual children have entered".
Encouraged by your loving promise I ask you to accept me as your spiritual child and to always intercede for me before Jesus and Mary. And as my spiritual father, I ask you to obtain mercy for me from God for all of my sins and be with me throughout my entire life, Amen
Our Father, Who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation,
