 Act of Contrition ( Traditional prayer )

O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee, and I detest all my sins because of Thy just punishments, but most of all because they offend Thee, my God, Who art all-good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Thy grace, to sin no more and to avoid the near occasions of sin.

 Act of Contrition ( Alternate prayer )

My God, I am sorry for my sins with all my heart. In choosing to do wrong and failing to do good, I have sinned against you whom I should love above all things. I firmly intend, with your help, to do penance, to sin no more, and to avoid whatever leads me to sin. Our Savior Jesus Christ suffered and died for us. In his name, my God, have mercy.

Act of Contrition - Short Version

O my God, I am sorry for my sins because I have offended you. I know I should love you above all things. Help me to do penance, to do better, and to avoid anything that might lead me to sin. Amen.

എന്റെ  ദൈവമേ , ഏറ്റം   നല്ലവനും  എല്ലാറ്റിനും  ഉപരിയായി  സ്നേഹിക്കപെടാൻ  യോഗ്യനായ  അങ്ങേക്ക്  എതിരായി   പാപം  ചെയ്തുപോയതിനാൽ  പൂര്ണഹൃദയത്തോടെ  ഞാൻ  മനഃസ്ഥാപിക്കുകയും  പാപങ്ങളെ  വെറുക്കുകയും  ചെയുന്നു.

അങ്ങയെ  ഞാൻ  സ്നേഹികയുന്നു . എന്റെ  പാപങ്ങളാൽ  എന്റെ  ആത്മാവിനെ  നഷ്ടപ്പെടുത്തി നരകത്തിനു അർഹനായി (അർഹയായി ) തീർന്നതിനാലും  ഞാൻ  ഖേദിക്കുന്നു.

അങ്ങേയുടെ  പ്രസാദവര  സഹായത്താൽ  പാപ സാഹചര്യങ്ങളെ  ഉപേക്ഷിക്കുമെന്നും  മേലിൽ  പാപം  ചെയ്യില്ലെന്നും  ഞാൻ  പ്രതിജ്ഞ  ചെയുന്നു .

ഏതെങ്കിലും  ഒരു  പാപം  ചെയുക  എന്നതിനേക്കാൾ  മരിക്കുവാനും  ഞാൻ  സന്നദ്ധനാണ് .  ആമേൻ .

Manasthapa Prakaranam  / Manasthapa pramanam

Ente daivame, ettam nallavanum ellatinum upariyayi snehikapedan yogyanumaaya angekku ethirayi paapam cheythupoyathinaal poornahrudayathode njaan manasthapikukayum papangale verukkukayum cheyunnu.
Angaye njaan snehikyunnu. Ente paapangalaal ente aathmaavine nashtapeduthi naragathinu arhanayi(arhayayi) theernathinaalum njan khedikunnu.
Angeyude prasaadavara sahayathaal paapasahacharyangale upekshikumennum melil paapam cheyillennum njaan prathinja cheyunnu.
Ethengilum oru paapam cheyuka ennathinekaal marikuvaanum njaan sannadhanaanu. Amen.
