TWENTY FIFTH YEAR OF JY
As Jesus Youth stands at the threshold of completing 25 years at the service of the Church, let us all join together in interceding for the various preparations around the world for the Jubilee year.
JESUS YOUTH JUBILEE PRAYER
Abba Father, we your children in the Jesus Youth
movement praise and thank you in this Jubilee
year for all the wonders of your love and mercy
towards us. Guide and protect us as we journey
through life.
Lord Jesus, help us to remain faithful to your
Word and to the teachings of the Church, to grow
in faith, hope and love, and to be present to the
needs of others, as we live our call to proclaim the
Good News, so that all peoples may come to know
you as their Lord and Saviour.
O Holy Spirit, source and strength of our Christian
life, grant us the grace to be docile to your voice
and to share the fire within us.
We call upon you, O most Holy Trinity, with Mary,
our Mother, and Saint Francis, our patron, to
make this Jubilee a year of grace. Refined in thy
fire, Renewed by thy Spirit, Radiant in thy
holiness, may we become a gift to the Church
and the world. Amen.
Jublee Theme
Refined in His fire. Renewed by His Spirit. Radiant in His love.
These three R’s encapsulate the essence of the Jubilee. They combine the two essential themes- “clothing the movement in white linen and receiving the power from on high” (Luke 24:49).
A cross and a rising flame within the figure of 25 symbolises the fire of the Holy Spirit and the centrality of Jesus and His mission within the movement.
The colours blue, orange and white stand for youthfulness, the fire of the Holy Spirit and the call to holiness.

Daily Prayers
The Apostle's Creed
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried, He descended into hell; the third day He arose again from the dead; He ascended into Heaven, sitteth at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty, from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.
