A letter of praise

My dear friends in Christ,

One of my friends sent me a message which read
Having God in your boat doesnt mean that you will not face any
storm, but it means that no storm can sink your boat
I just felt how true it is in my life..always.. I would just like to
quote an instance that happened in last month which further
strengthend my faith in God.


As a part of my work I had prepared a classification to monitor the
concentration of assets which after it is approved should be followed
by two departments. My dept head approved the classifications and I
had taken great care in preparing my comments on the concentration in
different assets to be presented before our committee meeting which
was to be presided by the MD.


Just a day before the meeting the second dept head called for me and
asked me on what basis I had prepared them, while I was very nervous I
still gathered courage and explained to him the process which he
straight away said was wrong, he went on show me some proofs in
support of his argument and to my utter dismay he was right in one
such asset.. He said he would raise the queries tomorrow at the
meeting too if I do not withdraw my presentation today. I couldnt
believe my eyes.. Had I made the mistake after such close monitoring
and I have already sent copy of the presentation to all the dept heads
who will be present for tomorrows meeting including the MD... How
will I meet my dept head and tell him that somewhere an error has
happened.. Since the time to the meeting was less I could not withdraw
the presentation.


I went back to my seat and nothing could prevent me from crying. I
again checked my documents.. the standard website from which I had
taken the data had given erroneous information for a few assets which
I failed to double check as the total assets under consideration were
many and would be time consuming, anyways individual scrutiny was not
required.I called my mom and explained to her in tears how will I face
my dept head and how will I make the presentation to the MD tommorrow,
what if the other dept head raised objections.. My entire dept will be
ashamed.. My mom just prayed and the message that kept repeating was
God will take care of you like Queen Esther

If you read Esther from the bible you will note that it was forbidden
for the queen to enter the Kings presence without being called for
and she could even be put to death if the king did not raise his
sceptre towards her. We see that the King not only raised his golden
sceptre towards Esther but also granted her request even before she
could tell the king. At the end we come to know Haman who conspired to
put to death Gods people was himself hanged in the gallows he built
for Mordecai (Gods man)

I just went back to my seat and in no time my dept head called for
me.. I prayed to God and explained my dept head everything. He just
told me to take the time and prepare the classification list for
coming month taking into account all the errors that happened this
time and when I told him that sir, the other head says he would ask
further queries.. Though I tried to explain to him.. He refused to
listen.. what if he objects tommorrow in front of everyone my dept
head got up and told me tomorrow in case someone from the opposite
dept asks you anything you just turn and face me, I will answer them,
dont get nervous at all, whatever is in the presentation you explain,
the rest I will take care of.. You are a brave girl.. good at speaking
I know .. Dont get worried am there for you

With that final note I walked from him cabin.. yes God granted my request.
The next day while I made the presentation.. a query was raised about
the authentication of my assumptions for my second presentation. My
dept head took over and explained, after a few moments of debate.. the
MD intervened and proposed that my assumption was indeed right and
further went to state that the assumption should be made a part of the
company policy the coming year and with that note we disbursed. We had
a talk with the other head and then we decided that we could sit
together and resolve the issues.

So finally I was able to rectify my mistake, the other reports I
prepared were approved and our depts were able to come together on
common terms.


Yes, God took care of me like Queen Esther, from a lowly state he
raised me, granted my requests and made peace at my borders.
Are you in some similar situation like this my friend.. Take it to
God.. Our God is so understanding and he never lets us down. He is my
protector and guide.. He will take care of you too..
Make sure he has the first place in your life, all the rest will fall in
place
