Double Bonanza! - Our God is not a debtor, HE never keeps debt

Dear All, It's been close to 4 months that my family arrived in here & if I have to confess one thing then I would confess that I was not able to give them a 'good weekend' in terms of 'site seeing', as most of our weekends are packed with ministerial works. But, more than 'ministerial work' I would say that it was my fault of not taking a conscious effort in finding a weekend for the same purpose. We had pushed this intention of spending a day long together somewhere outdoors back of our mind or in other words if we say an idea sort of this had taken a low priority in our task list.
	With weeks & weeks passing by, the idea just got buried somewhere. But, here I must mention that though we humans may forget but the one up above knows our needs quite well & would always give the best to us. Pop comes a brilliant idea from our office fellows to spend a day long at universal studio. Because most of us were not around during Christmas season we celebrated the company outing day last Sunday. Though early only for employees, eventually to our surprise the event got opened up for each employee's family as well. This was one of the gifts that I would have not imagined in my wildest dreams. Though people from all over the world travel to Singapore for a day in 'Sentosa' or 'UV' but we ourselves were never been able to make it, our friends & cell mates who have been in here for long have always suggested us to take some time out & visit these place's with family to which we just smile as we were just not able to take some time out (my BAD). However when this 'proposal' of a day outing came it was simply the most well planned amazing gift ONE could gift us and it just affirmed the promise that when we give the BEST to the lord, HE arranges the BEST for us too....
Had an incredible day at universal studios. I would say within such short span hardly months into our stay in here, visiting universal studios would have never been in our scheduled list, but it was definitely in God's plan. On top of all this do I have to mention that the whole day was sponsored by our company for all the members, so all the UV plays, show, rides & incredible food came our way that too without paying a dime, now that's what is called a perfect GIFT! Our employees & family bonded great that day & it was one more event in our life that proves GOD knows our need much better that we do..... Is that the end? ha, hold on.... its just the interval. There was one more event that happened that day, which I would just show how great is our GOD. Before that a little background would do help... It was in my previous company that we had started a culture of celebrating each employee's B'day. But, not many would 'volley' this idea as the one who would do so would have to pay for the 'cake' - though it was few hundred bucks but we would never shy in paying for the same. Though some time we had doubted that why it was me that have to pay always, but the joy that it gives to bring a smile on others face when we celebrate their B'day just would weigh much more 'heavy' than few hundred bucks of ours. Their have been times when finance would really run low, but still we would shell out the money to buy the cake. It was one 'idea' that we all liked & frankly speaking if someone asked what was the inspiration behind it? I would say nothing special just to celebrate & give others joy in all possible way. This series of events was something that we had completely forgotten of when we had left our previous company & moved in here. But, to my surprise that day in Universal studio's something eventful was in store for me. Just post lunch employees stood & in they brought two 'heafty' cakes, the whole restaurant joined in as everyone sang the all time hit Happy B'day day, with me screaming in vain that its not my B'day its not. Well, my B'day fall's on 26th Dec, but our company fellows had a different plan all together & celebrated an advance B'day (Mind you in our company in here, there is no trend of celebrating B'day of employees). Something that was very thoughtful & very very touching for my entire family. With the chief chef coming all out to cut the cake just made us feel more special & indeed by now our eyes were moist... Looking at the 'GodZilla' Chocolate & butterscotch cake in front of me, I was just wondering all the cakes that I had sponsored back in India have been returned to me in ten folds... Special thanks to the entire Affle team. All this reminded me of just one line that my elder in here said to me "Our God is not a debtor, HE never keeps debt" - What a incredible, promising & inspirational statement & believe me people its more than TRUE. Though each day we experience it but last weekend confirmed the great truth in a very special way.... Bottom line - "Keep working for the LORD untiringly & HE will take care of you much greater than you have planned & GIVE as much as can, for our GOD is not a debtor GOD, HE never keeps debts..." May this season of Christmas inspire us to live more for Christ & give more for Christ ... Happy Jubilee to all....
