Holy Eucharist - The real presence!
Holy Eucharist is the most important among the seven sacraments in Holy Catholic Church. For beleivers, it is the real presence of living God among them and it is the source and summit of the Christian life.

During the celebration of Holy Mass, the wheat bread and wine undergoes a spiritual consecration process called transubstantiation in which it is transformed to Jesus Christ's real body and blood.
This holy sacrament was instituted by Christ himself during the Last supper. Gospel of St. Luke Chapter 22 Verse 19-20 explains the event as given below:

...19 And He took the bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, "This is My body, given for you; do this in memory of Me." 20 In the same way, after supper He took the cup, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is poured out for you ....."

Lot of miracles happens while celebrating the Holy Eucharist and Eucharistic Adoration. During the celebration of Holy mass, Priest and believers consume the Holy Eucharist. There are churches or chapels where Holy Eucharist is placed in a Monstrance (Ostensorium) for adoration and people can spend time before it. I would like to share a small experience from our life. When my wife was pregnant and was going through her ninth month of pregnancy, she had low Hb count as she was having Iron deficiency due to moderate anemia. She was put on 5 day course of iron injection, but still her Hb Level and PCV (packed cell volume) was decreasing. she consumed more iron rich diet, even though the result was disappointing. At that time while reading a spiritual magazine, the testimonial section in that featured a person's experience in which she got healed from her health problems during Eucharistic adoration. This made us to spend half an hour in front of Holy Eucharist at our Church's adoration chapel. After two weeks my wife checked her blood and the result was amazing. The Hb and PCV had significantly improved and her blood sugar level was absolutely normal.

What is Transubstantiation?
 According to Catechism of catholic Church (CCC) paragraph 1376 Transubstantiation is defined as :

The Council of Trent summarizes the Catholic faith by declaring: "Because Christ our Redeemer said that it was truly his body that he was offering under the species of bread, it has always been the conviction of the Church of God, and this holy Council now declares again, that by the consecration of the bread and wine there takes place a change of the whole substance of the bread into the substance of the body of Christ our Lord and of the whole substance of the wine into the substance of his blood. This change the holy Catholic Church has fittingly and properly called transubstantiation."
