Who is Holy Spirit / Paraclete / Parakletos ?
Holy Spirit is a person, one among the Holy Trinity, known in various names as “the Spirit of God”, “the Spirit of Truth”, “the Holy Ghost” etc..He guides us into ALL truth. Holy spirit transforms and guide us to become more like Jesus and helps us to win the spiritual war against desires of flesh and other sins.

In Septuagint a Greek version of the Hebrew Bible which was adopted by the early Christian Churches, in Chapter Esaias (Isaiah) 11:2, it says
According to Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC) based on above scriptures, there are 7 gifts of Holy Spirit. They are wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude (courage), knowledge, piety, and fear of the Lord. During baptism a person receive Holy Spirit and are blessed with these seven gifts. He / She is strengthened by the reception of the Sacrament of Confirmation which enriches them with a special strength of the Holy Spirit so that one can proclaim the truths of the faith.
