Hope you are all having the most beautiful days of your life with Jesus.As many of JY's prepare and pray for a blessed family life,this verse from the bible stands out in a different way.An approach to married life beyond our concepts. 1 Cori 7:10-14
To the married, however, I give this instruction (not I, but the Lord): a wife should not separate from her husband if she does separate she must either remain single or become reconciled to her husband and a husband should not divorce his wife.to the rest I say (not the Lord): if any brother has a wife who is an unbeliever, and she is willing to go on living with him, he should not divorce her;and if any woman has a husband who is an unbeliever, and he is willing to go on living with her, she should not divorce her husband.for the unbelieving husband is made holy through his wife, and the unbelieving wife is made holy through the brother. Otherwise your children would be unclean, whereas in fact they are holy.
All of us who are in the Love of God who has been called for a family long to have a partner who will support us in Spiritual life too . But many times it does not happen.I have seen broken relation,saw tears during talks.The reason were manifold husband /wife is not interested in charismatic activities,addicted to drinks,more interested in worldly life and so on. We have a role to pray for the salvation and repentance of our life partners .The Holy Bible Clearly make sit out
"For the unbelieving husband is made holy through his wife, and the unbelieving wife is made holy through the brother(husband)"
If we,unworthy has been called for his plan,the call exist and is valid for all Sinners.There is Jesus,knocking at the doors of each mans heart ( Rev 3:20) to enter his life and to give him eternal life.The only thing is some people are unable to identify the call themselves .Then there lies the call of his/her partner : TO GUIDE HIM/HER TO LIGHT
The call of a Christian,as a missionary,to spread the Love of Christ begins in your Room . In family it should start from the husband and wife to Kids and through them Society should be able to see a Holy Family like our St.Joesph,St.Mary and Easo. If this doesn't happen beyond all these run for retreats and prayer cells we will be empty pots.Penance and Matrimony are among the seven sacraments of the Holy Church
As our co ordinated said in the meeting : A husband is a god gifted one,when his wife is able to say that she loves him with full heart,when his kids are able to say their dad is a loving dad . The Catechism of the catholic Church depicts :
1601 "The matrimonial covenant, by which a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership of the whole of life, is by its nature ordered toward the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of offspring; this covenant between baptized persons has been raised by Christ the Lord to the dignity of a sacrament."
We are not like others,we have the example of a beautiful Holy family,who trusted one another,suffered all the trial together and submitted themselves for God's purpose.If Jesus was able to Live a life without sins,there is no doubt his life was nourished by the life of his beautiful amma and appa.
1666 "The Christian home is the place where children receive the first proclamation of the faith. For this reason the family home is rightly called "the domestic church," a community of grace and prayer, a school of human virtues and of Christian charity".
Let each JY Family be a Holy Family . Let each family have Saints ,who Love and Live for the Purpose God has called Us . It is assured by the word of God that the call will be fulfilled.
Prepare for a family life in Prayer,for whatever he has set apart for us is for our Good(Jer29:11).Let thy will and not our will be done .
