Dont betray your Lord

Have you ever thought how Judas must have felt as he watched his friend and master Jesus being led away by angry soldiers, to be handed over for death. The same hands that calmed the storm and healed the blind, the lame and all the sick.. now bound with chains.

The 30 pieces of silver would no longer be exciting I am sure.. every sound of the coins in his pocket must have burned his heart.. Finally Judas said ' I have betrayed innocent blood' and killed himself.. the sorrow of betrayal was too much to bear.

Many times our good intentions have head on collision with temptations.. and who wins is finally left in ur hands. Remember whatever we get.. money.. name.. position..property.. any pleasure.. entertainment.. in the place/instead of God will never give us ultimate happiness… it will burn your heart.. finally if we don't get back to God..things will become very difficult.

So next time when you have to make a choice between anything and God.. think.. please don't betray Jesus..

“[A Third Time Jesus Foretells His Death and Resurrection] While Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, he took the twelve disciples aside by themselves, and said to them on the way, “See, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be handed over to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn him to death; then they will hand him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified; and on the third day he will be raised.”” -Matthew 20: 17-19
