The saints, more than anyone else, teach us that a life of perfect virtue is not so impossible after all. They are a living witness to the truth of Christ’s own words that for those who are seriously willing to cooperate with His grace, His yoke is not only not bitter or harsh but pleasant and sweet and easy to bear.
- Saint Robert Bellarmine (1542-1621) Archbishop of Capua , Italy , Doctor of the Church
Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass
It’s about learning to dance in the rain!
It's A Little Cloud - But It's Loaded!
“I saw a little cloud.” (1 Kings 18:44)
When there was no sign of rain anywhere,
Elijah instructed his servant to keep looking.
Finally, the servant who kept reporting that nothing was happening saw something,..
It was just a little cloud - but it was loaded!
God loves to use things we think are insignificant.
Remember how He used:
(a) a little boy’s lunch to feed 5,000;
(b) a slingshot to bring down a giant;
(c) a handful of clay to restore a man's eyesight.
He can use a little job… a little money… a little favour… to bless you.
Little clouds are indicators of what's coming; they're the conduits God has chosen to use.
When God promises you abundance, He doesn't need anything big to make it happen.
The change that eventually impacts multitudes, usually starts with one thing or individual.
Whether it's a Noah or a Paul or a Mother Teresa or a Billy Graham,
God only needs one person who believes Him, who dares to be different.
When God pours out the rain of His blessing you'll:
(1) see that your problems are just opportunities for God
(2) discover that His "strength is made perfect in [your] weakness" (2 Corinthians 12:9);
(3) be able to thank Him for your enemies,
In fact, when the situation is at its worst, is when God puts on His apron and starts cooking up a miracle for you!
Believe and have faith! “I will make all things new” says the Lord today to you.
"Believe in The Lord Jesus, you will be saved, you and your family." (Acts 16:31)
