Breaking Out Of Your Rut!

Stuck in a rut?
God knows the way out.

Talk to Him today!

As you all know, less than two months ago, we faced the greatest challenge of our life – the death of our 4-year-old Mirella. It is only the hand of God & the tremendous love, support and prayers that we have received from friends like you that has helped us pull through.

Yesterday, another almost life-threatening challenge has been thrown in my face. Yet I believe our God is the God of the impossible and I can achieve anything with Him on my side. Am counting heavily on your prayers for the next one month. God bless you!

Yours in God’s Eternal Love,
Irma Raymond

Breaking Out Of Your Rut!

Let us throw off everything that hinders… Hebrews 12:1

At 18, George Fredrick Handel was the harpsichordist at the Kaiser's Opera House in Hamburg , Germany .

By 21, he was a keyboard virtuoso and a celebrated composer under appointment to the King of England.

Yet, despite all this, he faced terrible adversity.

First, there was the fierce rivalry of the English composers.

Next, there were the fickle audiences who often didn't show up for his performances.

Several times he was on the verge of bankruptcy.

Finally he suffered a stroke on his left side, and temporarily lost the use of four fingers on his right hand.

At 56, deeply discouraged, and fearing he'd land in a debtor's prison, he gave what he considered to be his farewell concert.

To him life had become one big rut, and he didn't know how to break out of it.

Then something incredible happened.

That same year, a wealthy friend visited him and gave him a libretto based on the life of Christ.

It intrigued him and stirred his emotions, and he began writing.

Immediately the floodgates of inspiration opened, and for the next 21 days he wrote almost non-stop.

During the following three days he created the orchestrations.

In just 25 days, George Fredrick Handel, the man who'd decided that his life was over, created the 260-page masterpiece known to us as Handel's Messiah!

Are you in a rut today?
God knows the way out. Talk to Him!

Getting out could begin with a decision to
(1) forget your past,
(2) confront your fears, and
(3) seize your God-given opportunities.

Do that, and your best days are ahead!
